Elkford, British Columbia offers a diverse mix of terrain for every level of rider, from beginners to seasoned sledders. Most of our areas are accessible to all skill levels, with plenty of options for both easy cruising and more technical mountain riding.
Our trail network starts at the Koko staging area, just north of Elkford along the Elk Valley Highway (HWY 43) past the end of the pavement at kilometre marker 105. From there, riders can head deep into the backcountry. Trail 7 also connects directly to Elkford, giving local riders the option to start their adventure right from town.
At the heart of our trail system, you’ll find a warm-up cabin, a welcoming stop for riders looking to rest, warm up, cook some lunch, check in with loved ones, and regroup before continuing their adventure.
Further up the valley, our members enjoy access to the Bleasdell Cabin, offering overnight stays, a full kitchen, cozy living room, sauna, BBQ, outhouse, and outdoor fire pit.
We could talk your ear off about our trails, and trust us, we’ve tried, but it all makes a lot more sense when you can see them for yourself!
Our downloadable trail maps are now live on the website, making it easier than ever to plan your next ride!
Here’s the important part: trail passes are required for Trail 7 and Crossing Creek.
If you’re a member of the Elkford Snowmobile Association, you’re already covered, no additional fees apply to riding these trails. Non-members can grab a day pass during the riding season for $20 per machine.
For now, go check out the maps and start planning your next adventure!
We will update you with where these passes are available, once they are available. Watch this space for updates!

Buying a trail pass gives you access to the trails, but becoming a member connects you to the community that makes it all possible. When you join the Elkford Snowmobile Association and the BC Snowmobile Federation, you’re helping to:
Membership is more than access, it’s being part of something bigger.
